Letter from the Principal
Spring 2010
After such a long and difficult winter, spring has finally sprung!
I am so proud of the Class of 2010, who has already surpassed $14 million in scholarships and grants for college. They have been working hard all year and their achievements, as usual, are impressive. It is a tribute to our students, our dedicated faculty, and our NAHS parents and families that we can honestly say that our Nazareth girls are the best!
Our 2009-2010 school year is hurtling towards a close (thankfully no later than usual) and summertime will soon be here. Registrations are currently being accepted for our Pre Eighth and Pre Ninth Summer Enrichment Programs and our Summer Sports Camps. I am very pleased to be offering these programs again this summer -- they are a great opportunity for prospective students to get to know the Nazareth community, hone their skills (inside or outside of the classroom), and have fun!!
I know I always talk about how wonderful and blessed Nazareth is (one could say I'm a bit biased), but this year has been eye-opening as we work in preparation for our Middle States Re-Accreditation. During our Self Study, NAHS students, faculty and staff, parents and former parents, alumnae, Board of Trustees members and the community have come together in praise of Nazareth.
It has been truly inspiring to hear stories of how well-prepared our students are for their college experience; how our faculty's dedication and availability are second to none; how diverse are our extra-curricular offerings; how supportive our community is of our school events; how the Nazareth family is of paramount importance in their personal lives.
And yet, with so much to be proud of, we are still planning ahead in how we can grow as a family and improve as a school and as a community. I hope we can continue on this path of success for many years to come.
Please remember that our mission here at Nazareth Academy High School is family. If there is anything that we can do to help your daughter fulfill her potential here at Nazareth, do not hesitate to contact us. The faculty and staff as well as NAPA, our parents’ organization, is always willing to do what we can.
God Bless!
