Letter from the Principal
Spring 2008
It is with great pride that I report our senior class surpassed all expectations and has amassed more than $16 million dollars in scholarships and grants for college. Our superb students are headed all over the United States and the world armed with the amazing education of Nazareth Academy High School at their backs. From the University of Pennsylvania, Drexel, LaSalle and St. Joseph’s Universities right here in Philadelphia to Johns Hopkins in Baltimore to Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland – our girls stand poised for the next chapter of their lives.
As principal, I am continually amazed by our girls – past, present and future. In April we welcomed the class of 2012 and their families with a Mass and reception at school. The enthusiasm of our incoming freshman is contagious. They anticipate a wonderful high school experience at NA!
Our current students have spent the second semester eagerly awaiting college results and preparing for some traditional high school favorites such as the prom. Nazareth Academy Alumnae busily organize reunions as they continue the spirit of Panda Pride. Happy Reunion to all our celebrating classes! In fact, the class of 1958 will celebrate their Golden Reunion at Nazareth Academy High School’s Graduation Ceremonies on May 31st. The 29 “golden graduates” will walk along with the class of 2008 and accept Golden Diplomas in honor of the 50 Year Reunion. It is truly a special day for the entire Nazareth Academy community.
I hope everyone will join me in wishing our best to the Class of 2008 as they embark on the next chapter of their lives while we look forward to a new one at Nazareth Academy High School.
God Bless!
