Letter from the Principal	Middle States Nazareth Academy High School is proud to be a fully accredited institution under the Middle States Association of College and Schools. Accreditation is the affirmation that a school provides a quality of education that the community has a right to expect and the education world endorses. Accreditation is a means of showing confidence in a school's performance. When the Commission on Secondary Schools accredits a school, it certifies that the school has meet the prescribed qualitative standards of the Middle States Association within the terms of the school's own stated philosophy and objectives. ~Commission on Secondary Schools, Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, www.css-msa.org Institutions that wish to maintain their accreditation undergo a renewal process every seven years. Nazareth Academy will be undertaking this task in 2010 and preparations have already begun. This section is available to communicate to our community special updates and information specifically pertaining to this endeavor. latest news & updates December 2009 Update We are currently in the process of our Self-Study. Faculty committees have completed their first drafts of the 12 Standards indicated by MSA. The Planning Committee will be meeting in the spring on a monthly basis to review and study these drafts. The following statements have been composed by the faculty and compiled from input from a wide variety of our stakeholders (faculty, administration, students, alumnae, parents of alumnae). These statements will also be mailed to you along with your daughter’s First Semester report card.
