University Opportunities

The Diocesan Scholarship and CAP Programs afford our students an introduction to true university classes. As a result of Nazareth Academy High School’s college preparatory program, our graduates have reported that their solid academic foundation from Nazareth led to a much smoother transition at the university level.

diocesan scholarship program

Under the auspices of the twelve Catholic colleges/universities in our Philadelphia area, Nazareth students are invited to enroll in the Diocesan Scholarship Program. The participating colleges offer qualified students the opportunity to earn up to 12 college credits during senior year.

At the end of the first semester, qualified juniors are invited to participate in the Diocesan Scholarship Program. (Qualified students are those who meet the criteria of cumulative GPA and academic record as determined by the Diocesan Scholarship Program).

For more information on the Diocesan Scholarship Program, please consult the Course Catalog.

collegiate advancement program

Unique to the rigorous curriculum at Nazareth Academy High School is the CAP Program (Collegiate Advancement Program) provided through collaboration with Holy Family University. CAP courses are college level courses administered by Holy Family University at Nazareth Academy High School, allowing students to fulfill high school and college requirements at the same time.

Students who have successfully completed the secondary school curriculum through the eleventh grade are eligible for considerations to the CAP Program. For more information on the CAP Program and how to apply, please consult the Course Catalog (.pdf).
