Embracing Sportsmanship
Panda pride runs blue and gold through the veins of the athletes. Year round opportunities for sportsmanship and spirit are available in various forms in the athletic department. With twelve sports to choose from, all Nazareth students are given the opportunity to try-out for an athletic team.
In our highly competitive athletic program, our athletes compete at district, state and national levels. Nazareth Academy High School is a member of the Pennsylvania Inter-Scholastic Athletic Association (P.I.A.A.) and competes in the Athletic Association of Catholic Academies (also known as the Catholic Academy League). Each year Nazareth athletes partake in award-winning tournaments and championships, bringing home top-level titles and enhancing our school’s Panda Pride.
The year-round coaching staff at Nazareth Academy encourages each athlete to be the best that she can be by embodying the values of commitment, dedication and sportsmanship. The school community supports our athletes at pep rallies and on the sidelines, enhancing school spirit and creating life-long memories.
Nazareth Academy has an athletic trainer, as well as, a strength and conditioning coach to enhance your daughter's athletic experience. Our strength and conditioning coach, Cheron Walker, provides you with a monthly Newsletter (.pdf) with information about women and strength training.
