Embracing the Future
A world of opportunity awaits students at Nazareth Academy High School. From the moment they enter Nazareth through graduation, our dedicated Guidance Department works with each student on transitions, relationships, academics, time management and the extensive college search and application process. Through a multi-faceted program, our counselors offer stability and guidance to our students during the sometimes challenging years of high school.
Our Guidance Planner is our month-by-month and year-by-year plan of all guidance activities, so that students and parents can be informed and remain an integral part of the guidance program here at Nazareth.
Besides working one-on-one with students, counselors meet with parents for consultations and host informative sessions for families regarding funding a college education, the college planning and application process, and filling out financial aid forms.
100% of our 124 graduates of the class of 2008 appiled to and were accepted to an institution of higher learning. In 2008, the senior class was awarded more than $16.8 million in scholarships and grants.
