Blue & Gold Auction
The Blue and Gold Auction is a combination of silent, live, and Chinese, which raises money to support NAHS. In 2005, we hosted our first gala event and auction, entitled April in Paris. Because of the overwhelming generosity of our parents, faculty and community, we were able to provide unique and fun auction items, which brought wonderful donations towards our new building, The Performing Arts Center. We hope to build on this success by continuing to host the auction as the hallmark fundraising event of the school year.
The 3rd Annual Blue and Gold Auction
Our third annual event, Midnight Masquerade, was held at the Maltese Room in Bensalem on Friday, March 28th, 2008.
You can download our Program Book here (.pdf). Special promotions included our "Heart of Style" Vera Bradley and Tiffany raffle and our Treasure Chest enclosing a gorgeous pearl necklace. Big ticket items included a Nintendo Wii with Guitar Hero III, a Broadway getaway, exclusive signed photos from the NAHS production of The Sound of Music, Eagles tickets, and more!
It was a spectacular gala! With nearly 200 guests attending, everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed everything from the Treasure Chest to the Live Auction to the Silent Auction to the food and the dancing. In reviewing our preliminary numbers, we are thrilled to report a profit of more than $70,000 for our girls! Please also note that this year, 100% of the Auction proceeds will directly benefit the students of NAHS by supporting academic programs, activities and additional expenses incurred by the school throughout the year. Additionally, due to the overwhelming response to our special appeal For the Girls, we are thrilled to report the funding for five new Smart Board Systems at NAHS, to be installed over the summer months.
