Our Home

Nestled on a beautiful campus in Northeast Philadelphia, Nazareth boasts more than eight decades of academic excellence with our more than 7,000 graduates spanning the globe. Our students hail from the surrounding counties of Pennsylvania including Bucks, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia as well as neighboring New Jersey townships making the location of our campus easily accessible for students from all over the area.

Our campus features our main school building with our hallmark bell tower beckoning visitors from beyond campus with its grand, hourly hymns filling the air. Guests stand in awe upon entering our glorious chapel, which is large enough for our entire school community to gather for Mass. The Chapel’s stunning artwork and paintings mirror those of some of the world’s most beautiful churches. All of our celebrations begin in chapel with Liturgies or para-liturgies for Freshman Day, Ring Day, Spirit Day, Operation Santa Claus Prayer Service, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Class Day and Graduation – to name a few. In September 2013, we added weddings to the list as the Nazareth chapel hosted its first wedding as a graduate walked with pride down the center aisle.

Nazareth is practically a round the clock operation with students in our halls during the day for learning in our classrooms, computer labs, science lab; after school doing homework in the labs, student dining room and library; after school and evening in our the gymnasium and on our field practicing and playing various sports and in our auditorium fine tuning their musical talents in our ensembles and for our annual play.

Nazareth Academy High School sits on the same campus with schools sponsored by our Sisters - Holy Family University, Nazareth Academy Grade School and Alpha House Nursery and Pre-school. This unique setting provides our students with opportunities for service and mentoring as well as university exposure and opportunities for classes at the university.

Students enjoy the campus year round and find it an ideal setting for learning. The lush landscape provides the perfect backdrop for our senior graduation portraits and later in life when our graduates return as brides for their wedding pictures. You will find Nazareth girls studying in the gazebo, chatting with friends on the sidelines and enjoying the scenes of our campus from the porch. You are always welcome in our home.

About Naz

"Embracing Faith, Family, and Education"

Admissions

"Naz because...it's where you belong."  How will you finish the sentence, "Naz because..."?

Academics

Our student to faculty ratio of 9:1 allows our teachers to interact with students 1-on-1, providing constant help and support.

Campus Life

Our activities provide a diverse set of opportunities for spiritual, social, physical, and intellectual growth for the students.

Athletics

Learning about commitment, dedication, hard work, discipline, and teamwork not only helps on the field, but in the classroom as well.

Fine Arts

The Fine Arts at Naz allow students to release their creativity, whether it be through song and dance or a piece of fine art.

Giving to Naz

We are called to give to "Nazareth" - not the building, but to “Nazareth” the home...our home.
