Daily Announcements For 10/20/17

  • Girls on October Kairos don't forget t-shirt money is due today and Monday at the latest!
  • Last week, Seniors received information regarding invitation to priests who are relatives or close family friends to concelebrate their Baccalaureate! This form is due back on or before: Thursday, October 19, 2017. Please have this information by this date. Invitations need to be mailed as soon as possible!
  • All students who are volunteering at the Paint Night this Friday should arrive at Nazareth between 6 & 6:15pm and should plan to stay until 10pm. If you are volunteering, you should dress down appropriately. If you do not already have a panda ambassador t-shirt, please see Ms. D in the admissions office for one. Thank you!
  • There will be a meeting for all those interested in going to the Paris - Rome trip on Friday Oct. 20 during the activity period in the old cafeteria.
  • There will be a Varsity Mathletes Meeting on Friday, October 27th during the activity period. During this meeting we will discuss the topic of the November 6th competition, give out practice exams, and also give out parent permission slips forms. Everyone who is a member of Varsity Mathletes has to return this signed slip to Ms. Vollrath or Ms. Ennis before going to any away competition.
  • Everyone who signed up for the November 6th competition has to attend the meeting. If you did not sign up for the November 6th competition you are more than welcome to attend and practice the topic. If you have any questions or cannot attend the meeting, please let Ms. Vollrath or Ms. Ennis know so we can get you the permission slip and practice exam. Thank you girls!"
  • Nazareth has a new Robotics Club. The club will meet periodically during Activity Periods in the Robotics Room located in the Old Cafeteria. This is an intramural club, not a competition team. We will build, program, and run LEGO Mindstorms robots for fun. This is a great opportunity to build your engineering skills, but no experience at all is necessary. There are jobs for everybody. Just come have fun.
  • Any junior or senior interested in the Robotics Club, please come to a meeting on Tuesday, October 24, in the Old Cafeteria.
Interested freshmen and sophomores please come to a meeting Thursday, October 26, in the Old Cafeteria.
If you have any questions, please see Mrs. McDonald in the Chemistry Lab. I look forward to seeing everyone next week at the meetings!
  • All students who owe Ms. D a shadow postcard MUST bring it to her in the Admissions Office by the end of school TODAY!
  • One of our girls Emily Higgins has enterted the Grand Illumination signing contest. If she wins she will be able to live her dream and sing in front of 10,000 people! Let’s show her some Nazareth support and give her a vote! Good Luck!
  • Attention Seniors! College is expensive! Mrs. Glasson has posted some financial aid information and scholarship opportunities on the white board in the counseling center. There are also several books on the shelves that give financial aid opportunities and scholarship opportunities. If you have any interests or questions please see Mrs. Glasson!
  • Any senior interested in applying for Daughters of the American Revolution college scholarships please see Ms. Sheridan before or after school. All paperwork MUST be completed by February 15, 2018. Please see Ms. Sheridan as soon as possible for more information.
  • Don't forget to show support for Naz-A-Thon at Shadybrook! When you order tickets online and use the code NAZ 20% will go to us! And this is available to anyone so share it with your family, friends, and neighbors! Help us make this a hugely successful event
  • Students, please be sure to regularly check the Scholarships Page on the Website under Counseling.  Don’t miss out on opportunities by missing important deadlines!

About Naz

"Embracing Faith, Family, and Education"

"Naz's where you belong."  How will you finish the sentence, "Naz because..."?

Our student to faculty ratio of 9:1 allows our teachers to interact with students 1-on-1, providing constant help and support.

Campus Life

Our activities provide a diverse set of opportunities for spiritual, social, physical, and intellectual growth for the students.

Learning about commitment, dedication, hard work, discipline, and teamwork not only helps on the field, but in the classroom as well.

Fine Arts

The Fine Arts at Naz allow students to release their creativity, whether it be through song and dance or a piece of fine art.

Giving to Naz

We are called to give to "Nazareth" - not the building, but to “Nazareth” the home...our home.
