7th Graders

Seventh grade represents a big year in the high school Admissions process, and Nazareth has you covered with multiple events for students and parents to learn more about our family. First, make sure you are on our mailing list and then begin highlighting events and dates on your calendar or mobile device.

7th & 8th Grade Fall Fun Movie Night

Friday, October 11, 2019  |  6:00 PM - 9:00 PM

Join us for a fun night of pumpkin painting and watching Disney's Hocus Pocus exclusively for 7th and 8th grade girls! Students will leave with their decorated pumpkin and a Nazareth gift. Pizza, snacks, and refreshments will be served! Registration is closed.

Fall Open House

Saturday, October 19, 2019  |  9:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Our Open House provides an opportunity to get to know everything about Nazareth and all we have to offer from academics to athletics and performing arts to traditions. Families will be able to tour the school with current Nazareth students as well as meet faculty, staff, administration, current parents, and coaches. Pre-registration is closed, but please feel free to walk up and register on Saturday morning!

6th & 7th Grade Practice Test

Saturday, March 7, 2020  |  7:45 AM - 12:00 PM

Taking our Practice Test benefits 6th and 7th grade future Pandas by allowing them to practice the skills needed to prepare for the 8th Grade Entrance Exam! The deadline to register is Thursday, March 5th. Online pre-registration is closed. We will be accepting a limited number of walk-in registrants on Saturday morning. Please accompany your daughter to our Main Office and register using cash, check (made payable to Nazareth Academy High School), or credit/debit card. The walk-in registration test fee is $40.

7th Grade Shadow Days

Our 7th Grade Shadow Days are a wonderful way for your daughter to experience a day as a Panda! We are thrilled to be continuing our 7th Grade Shadow Days in Spring 2020! Students who shadow are able to meet current faculty and students, observe classes, and eat lunch in our Student Dining Room. Parents/guardians must schedule a Shadow Day at least one week in advance of the date that their daughter wishes to shadow. Shadow Days will take place from March 2020 to May 2020. We ask students who are shadowing to be dropped off at Nazareth between 7:20 and 7:35 AM; dismissal is at 2:10 PM. 7th Grade Shadow Days have concluded for the 2019-20 school year.

Spring Open House

The Spring Open House gives prospective students and parents the opportunity to take a tour of Nazareth, view one-of-a-kind art pieces created by our art students, enjoy the beautiful sounds of our music students, and visit with faculty, staff, coaches, students, and parents to gain a better vision of the Naz experience. Our Spring Open House has been cancelled due to current health concerns and social distancing mandates.

7th Grade Beach Bag Bingo

Friday, May 8, 2020  |  6:30 PM - 9:00 PM

Join us for an exclusive 7th grade girls night at Naz! This event is free and features 10 games of bingo with bingo winners receiving beach bags filled with summer-themed prizes. Pizza and summer-style refreshments will be served. All bingo supplies will be provided. This event has been cancelled due to current health concerns and social distancing mandates.

Pre-7th & Pre-8th Grade Summer Enrichment Program

Monday, June 22nd to Friday, July 10th  |  8 AM to 12:30 PM  |  $600 for 2 weeks or $750 for the entire program

This program is designed for girls entering the 7th or 8th grade in September 2020 who want to strengthen their test-taking skills and academically enrich themselves. Classes will focus on HSPT (High School Placement Test) prep in both math and English, STEM, and an introduction to our music, art, and foreign language departments. Please note: Classes run Monday to Friday each week with the exception of Friday, July 3rd when Nazareth will be closed.
