Please note: this event is scheduled to take place in-person but may be held virtually if the need arises.
Step 2 - Complete the Online Application
Complete and submit your Online Application for Admission as soon as possible. A copy of the applicant's birth certificate must be provided with the application. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee that is due at the time of application submission. The application fee must be received in order for an application to be reviewed. Please note: Submitting an Application for Admission does NOT automatically register your daughter for our Online 8th Grade Entrance & Scholarship Exam.
You will be submitting your daughter's Application for Admission through PowerSchool. You will need to create a PowerSchool account in order to complete and submit the application.
Step 3 - Submit Supplemental Admissions Documents
After completing the online application, each applicant should submit the following documents:
Student Transcript
To request copies of your academic records, you must complete the Transcript Release Form and submit it to your current school. The school will then forward copies of your transcript, attendance records, disciplinary records, and standardized test scores to NAHS.
6th and 7th Grade Report Cards
Your current school will not send copies of the 6th and 7th grade final report cards. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make copies of these final report cards and mail, email, or fax them directly to Nazareth.
Teacher Recommendation
In order to obtain a letter of recommendation, applicants should forward the Teacher Recommendation Form to their Principal, Guidance Counselor, or 6th, 7th, or 8th grade teacher. The evaluator will then complete the recommendation and mail it directly to Nazareth. NAHS only requires and recommends ONE teacher recommendation.
Step 4 - Take the 8th Grade Entrance and Scholarship Exam
Due to current health circumstances and guidelines, our 8th Grade Entrance/Scholarship Exam will be hosted online. This test a critical tool in the admissions process as we consider candidates for the Class of 2025. Students who are unable to sit for Nazareth's Entrance Exam may choose to take it at another private or Archdiocesan high school in the area and send their scores to Naz in order to be considered for admission. Please note, only students who take Nazareth's Entrance Exam are eligible for all scholarships. Registration is closed.
Please note: Submitting an Application for Admission does NOT automatically register your daughter for our 8th Grade Entrance & Scholarship Exam.
For more information regarding our scholarships, tuition, and financial aid, please visit our Affording NAHS page.
Step 5 - Interview for Admission
Qualifying applicants will receive a notification from the Admissions Office inviting them to schedule an interview. Each qualified applicant and their parent/guardian will have the opportunity to meet and interview with a member of the admissions staff or school administration. Please note: applicants must have a completed admissions file before an interview can be scheduled. A complete file includes the applicant’s Application for Admission, transcript from her current school (including standardized testing results), 6th and 7th grade final report cards, and one teacher recommendation.

International Students
Nazareth Academy High School fields requests from international students wishing to come to the United States and study at college preparatory schools, such as ours. Prospective students engage in the same rigorous admissions process as all Nazareth applicants, including interviews conducted via Skype. An applicant's acceptance to Nazareth is contingent upon meeting academic requirements and living with a CSIET approved agency or blood relative (as verified by affidavit). Applicants must also meet all of the guidelines of the Department of Homeland Security and Student Exchange and Visitor Program.
