Virtual Shadow Days for the 2021-2022 school year have concluded. In-person Shadow Days for 8th graders (Class of 2026 applicants) will resume at the end of September 2021.
Attend one of our Open Houses
Our virtual Fall Open House gives prospective transfer students and parents the opportunity to receive information on all of our offered courses and extracurricular activities and hear from current students, parents, teachers, staff, and administrators. Our virtual Fall Open House will be held on Saturday, October 17, 2020. Click here to view our Virtual Open House!
Our Spring Open House on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, gives prospective students and parents the opportunity to learn about everything that Nazareth has to offer - academics, athletics, activities, performing arts, and more! Due to limitations on visitors on campus, this event is limited to a total of 120 prospective students and one parent/guardian per student. Families must register ahead of time and must select an arrival time between 6 and 7:40 PM. Presentations during the tour will last a little more than an hour. Registration is full and is now closed.
Complete and submit your Online Application for Admission as soon as possible. A copy of the applicant's birth certificate must be provided with the application. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee that is due at the time of application submission. The application fee must be received in order for an application to be reviewed. Please note: Submitting an Application for Admission does NOT automatically register your daughter for our Online 8th Grade Entrance & Scholarship Exam.
You will be submitting your daughter's Application for Admission through PowerSchool. You will need to create a PowerSchool account in order to complete and submit the application.
After completing the online application, each applicant should submit the following documents:
To request copies of your academic records, you must complete the Transcript Release Form and submit it to your current school. The school will then forward copies of your transcript, attendance records, disciplinary records, and standardized test scores to NAHS.
6th and 7th Grade Report Cards
Your current school will not send copies of the 6th and 7th grade final report cards. It is the applicant’s responsibility to make copies of these final report cards and mail, email, or fax them directly to Nazareth.
In order to obtain a letter of recommendation, applicants should forward the Teacher Recommendation Form to their Principal, Guidance Counselor, or 6th, 7th, or 8th grade teacher. The evaluator will then complete the recommendation and mail it directly to Nazareth. NAHS only requires and recommends ONE teacher recommendation.
Due to current health circumstances and guidelines, our 8th Grade Entrance/Scholarship Exam will be hosted online. This test a critical tool in the admissions process as we consider candidates for the Class of 2025. Students who are unable to sit for Nazareth's Entrance Exam may choose to take it at another private or Archdiocesan high school in the area and send their scores to Naz in order to be considered for admission. Please note, only students who take Nazareth's Entrance Exam are eligible for all scholarships. Registration is closed.
Please note: Submitting an Application for Admission does NOT automatically register your daughter for our 8th Grade Entrance & Scholarship Exam.
For more information regarding our scholarships, tuition, and financial aid, please visit our Affording NAHS page.
Qualifying applicants will receive a notification from the Admissions Office inviting them to schedule an interview. Each qualified applicant and their parent/guardian will have the opportunity to meet and interview with a member of the admissions staff or school administration. Please note: applicants must have a completed admissions file before an interview can be scheduled. A complete file includes the applicant’s Application for Admission, transcript from her current school (including standardized testing results), 6th and 7th grade final report cards, and one teacher recommendation.
Nazareth Academy High School fields requests from international students wishing to come to the United States and study at college preparatory schools, such as ours. Prospective students engage in the same rigorous admissions process as all Nazareth applicants, including interviews conducted via Skype. An applicant's acceptance to Nazareth is contingent upon meeting academic requirements and living with a CSIET approved agency or blood relative (as verified by affidavit). Applicants must also meet all of the guidelines of the Department of Homeland Security and Student Exchange and Visitor Program.
