"As a parent of four Nazareth Academy High School graduates, I can speak first hand of the quality education my children have received. Nazareth's challenging curriculum, varied extracurricular activities, and moral foundation were a perfect fit for my girls. I cannot speak highly enough about this jewel of an institution right here in Northeast Philadelphia!"
State Representative Mike Driscoll P'15, '16, '20, '23

Attend one of our Transfer Student Shadow Days
We invite your daughter to spend a day as a Panda! Shadow Days offer your daughter an opportunity to see a full schedule of classes, have lunch in our Student Dining Room, and get to know our students and faculty. The school day begins at 7:40 AM and concludes at 2:10 PM. Your daughter can shadow a current Nazareth student whom she knows, or we will pair her with a current student based on similar academic and extracurricular interests.
We offer a variety of shadow days between the end of September and beginning of December. Click here to register for a shadow day!

To submit an application for the 2024-2025 school year to start in January 2025, please click here.
Complete and submit the online Application for Admission for the 2024-2025 school year. A copy of the applicant's birth certificate must be submitted with the application. There is a $50 non-refundable application fee that is due at the time of application submission. The application fee must be submitted in order for a student's application to be reviewed.
The Application for Admission is submitted through PowerSchool. You will need to create a PowerSchool account in order to complete and submit the application.
Financial Aid and Scholarships
NAHS offers a limited amount of financial aid to incoming transfer students. Families of prospective transfer students must complete the financial aid application through FACTS Tuition Management in order to be considered for financial aid. Aid awards are determined based on demonstrated financial need.
For students who applied to Nazareth during their 8th Grade year and received an academic and/or extracurricular scholarship at that time, we will honor these scholarships for a student's year(s) at Nazareth if she transfers. If a prospective transfer student's mother is a graduate of NAHS, the student will automatically receive the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth Legacy Scholarship for each of her years at Nazareth.
For details regarding our scholarships, please visit our Scholarship Information page.

Step 3 - Submit Supplemental Admissions Documents
After completing the online Application for Admission, each applicant should submit the following documents:

- Report card with student's most recent grades for the current school year
- A Letter of Recommendation from a teacher, guidance counselor, or principal
- A copy of your daughter's current high school transcript
- A copy of the results of an entrance, scholarship, or placement exam your daughter may have taken for another high school during 8th Grade (if applicable)
Step 4 - Interview for Admission
The Admissions Committee will evaluate the student, and based on the evaluation, a student would then be invited to interview (along with a parent/guardian). Students will be considered for acceptance once a completed file and application have been received by the Admissions Office.
Interviews will be offered only when the admissions file is complete. A parent/guardian will be contacted when the Admissions Office is ready to schedule their daughter's interview.
