Cheerleading

The Nazareth Academy Cheerleading program consists of a group of talented student athletes in the sport of Cheerleading who are the heart of school spirit within Nazareth Academy as well as the surrounding community.  They make various appearances including all home basketball games in the winter and school functions such as pep rallies and summer camps.  The Nazareth Academy cheerleaders train on the competitive level locally, within the state at the PIAA Competitive Cheerleading Championship held in Hershey, PA and nationally, attending the UCA National High School Cheerleading Championship held in Orlando, Florida viewed on ESPN every year.  They promote school spirit at school functions and reach new competitive goals every season.   We do stress academics as well as athletics.  Our students must keep a certain grade level to stay eligible to compete.

We have a Varsity and JV squad.

Our season runs from August to February with tryouts in April and August and May and June workouts.
