March 13, 2020
Dear Nazareth Academy Family,
During our previous communications regarding coronavirus, we have expressed that as circumstances and facts dictate, our actions will be made out of care and concern for our students, faculty and staff. Since our most recent letter yesterday, circumstances have once again changed.
At this time, Nazareth Academy High School will close and move to Cyber Days beginning on Tuesday, March 17th continuing through Friday, March 27th.
All athletics games and practices are cancelled until March 27th.
On Monday, March 16th, students will be off from school and faculty will have a virtual planning day.
Detailed information will be sent on Sunday, March 15th regarding Cyber Day protocols and building access on Monday, March 16th.
As a school community, we continue to monitor the coronavirus situation daily. As we receive new information from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Pennsylvania Department of Health and the School District of Philadelphia, we will share the information and new resources with you.
At this time, there are still no reported cases within the Nazareth community.
Please be assured of our continued prayers for all those affected by this virus.
In Christ,
Mrs. Denise LePera Mr. James Meredith President Principal |
