Class Day Senior Awards: May 27th Class Day Awards for seniors will be shared virtually on May 27th. Award recipients will receive their awards via mail within the first two weeks of June.
Any graduation awards will be presented at our public graduation, when the guidelines permit this event.
Senior Salute and Senior Salute Service Opportunity: May 29th Throughout the day on May 29th, various ways to honor of Class of 2020 will be shared broadly via social media, highlighted by the video complied from the seventy-nine moments from May 18th-22nd. A link for this video will be shared with all seniors via email at 10 am, before it is shared broadly.
The Senior Salute will begin on May 29th at 12:00 pm. At this time, according to homeroom, every senior, dressed in her cap and gown, will be to travel to the Nazareth Academy High School campus in one car per family, entering via the Stevenson Lane gate. Each senior will receive her 2020 yearbook when she arrives. During the Senior Salute, the senior, riding with her family, will travel a designated course through the entire parking lot where she will be celebrated by faculty and staff along the course. This will be accomplished in a way that salutes each senior and maintains safe social distancing. Here is the schedule for Homeroom arrival: 1A-12:00, 2A-12:20, 3A-12:40, 4A-1:00.
During the Senior Salute on May 29th, all seniors are strongly encouraged to participate in a service opportunity when they arrive on campus by donating non-perishable items to benefit the homeless, who are among the many vulnerable in society impacted during the pandemic. Abiding by social distance guidelines and through the help of the Community Service Corps and our Nazareth community, all items collected will be donated to the Homeless Outreach Services for the City of Philadelphia.

The drop off bin will be at Nazareth on May 29th during the Senior Salute. Special thanks to McKenzie Tobler, '20, and Mrs. Bridie Tobler for their help and support in organizing this project.
To reflect the unprecedented times in which we live, we are excited to honor our seniors this week in a very unique, but still very Nazareth way. We are also thrilled to provide each senior and family their moment at the Chapel steps, just as she did when she began her Nazareth career as a freshman or transfer student. To reiterate, while this celebration is not "graduation," physical or virtual, it does recognize each senior by giving her and her family their own time to celebrate in advance of May 29th. If you have any questions or concerns, please email Mr. Meredith.
Congratulations to our Class of 2020! We love you, we miss you, and we cannot wait to see you this week! May the Holy Family of Nazareth bless you and keep you safe.
Sincerely,
Denise LePera James Meredith President Principal
