August 28th Weekly Update
"Let not your heart be troubled or fearful; …do what you can and leave the rest to God." -Blessed Mary of Jesus the Good Shepherd
Opening Days We are excited to return safely to our beloved Nazareth Academy campus next week. The Class of 2024 will begin on Monday, August 31st. All students will return to the building according to cohort on Wednesday (Blue) and Thursday (Gold).
To begin the school day for the orientation programming on Wednesday and Thursday, students should report by 7:45 AM as follows:
For our students who are participating exclusively remotely, videos from the orientation programming will be shared digitally on Thursday.
The hybrid schedule for Wednesday and Thursday is as follows: Students who are exclusively remote or who are livestreaming from home on Wednesday or Thursday will access their class through Microsoft Teams using their NA Microsoft Login. For those on campus, students are encouraged to bring their devices with them, including, but not limited to, smart phones or laptops. If a student needs a device, one may be signed out for the day from the IT Department on the third floor. Please contact Mr. DeCaesar or Ms. Dollbaum in our IT Department if you have any questions about technology.
Students should bring their lunch next week. Snacks and drinks will be available for purchase during lunch. The cafeteria and Panda Pit are cashless during the Hybrid Learning Model. Because freshmen will not have their ID badges, our Panda Pit clerk will log the purchases and manually enter after you receive the MyKidsSpending instructions on how to load funds.
Summer assignments and Student Handbook acknowledgement forms will be collected next week when students are on campus.
