Yale Young Global Scholars Program

A highly-selective pre-collegiate program administered by Yale University offering unique interdisciplinary programming, providing an extraordinarily talented group of students a taste of life at one of the nation’s top universities. Yale Young Global Scholars Program will run ten residential sessions in the summer of 2019. Villanova’s Discovering Nursing Program

The discovering nursing program is a collaboration of the Fitzpatrick College of Nursing faculty, professional staff, and current nursing students, and will be offered on Friday, March 29th 2019 from 8:30-3:00. In order to be eligible to attend this event, the high school junior must meet the following requirements:

  • Holds a B+ average (or higher) in a college preparatory high school curriculum
  • Be recommended by his/her guidance counselor to attend the event.
  • Have interest in pursuing a career in nursing.

The Counseling department is limited to recommending only 2 juniors. Recommendations are due by March 15th. If interested, please see Mrs. Glasson. The first two juniors who meet the requirements will be the students who are recommended.

NYU Precollege Program

NYU Precollege gives rising juniors and seniors the amazing opportunity to spend their summer on NYU’s campus in the heart of Manhattan. For six exciting weeks, high school students can take college-level courses for credit, develop their essay-writing skills, and learn how to manage their time in college, all while experiencing what it’s like to be a NYU student.

The Summer 2019 NYU Precollege program runs from July 7- August 16. For scholarship consideration, students should apply early and no later than April 1, 2019.

The Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive

The Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive for high school students at Lehigh University will be held June 30 - July 27, 2019 is a residential, summer pre-college program opportunity for outstanding high school students considering a career in business or international relations.

The Iacocca Global Entrepreneurship Intensive at Lehigh University, is accepting applications for the 2019 summer program. Current high school sophomores and juniors are encouraged to apply. The application deadline is March 18, 2019.
