Naviance

  1. Type www.naviance.com into your web browser
  2. Click Sign In
  3. Click Students and Families
  4. Type in Nazareth’s zipcode: 19114
  5. Click I Need to Register
  6. Enter Registration Code and Click Enter
  7. Enter your school email and create a password of your choosing
  8.  After you have signed up, please log in to make sure everything works
  9. Click the About Me tab
  10. Scroll down and click Profile
  11. Edit your profile to fill in all of the relevant information like phone numbers, address, etc.
  12. Click Add Parent after you edit your profile
  13. Enter one parents name, address, phone number, and email address
  14. When you are finished, you can logout

CollegeBoard

  1. Type www.collegeboard.org into your web browser
  2. There should be an option on the homepage to make an account. If not, then you can click Sign In and then Sign Up
  3. Click Student
  4. Use your school email and make a username and password of your choosing
  5. Please provide accurate information – you will use this account to sign up for the SAT one day
  6. Adding parent information is optional
  7. When you are finished, you can logout

Khan Academy

  1. Type www.khanacademy.org into your web browser
  2. There should be an option for you on the homepage to sign up
  3. Click learner
  4. Use your school email and a password of your choosing
  5. Once you are in you will be prompted to enter your grade level and choose any classes that you may want help with this year or in future years
  6. When you are finished, you can logout

Linking Khan Academy to Collegeboard

  1. Log into CollegeBoard
  2. In the search bar type “how to link Khan Academy”
  3. Click How to Link Your Khan Academy Account
  4. Click Get Started and follow the prompts
  5. When you are finished, you can logout of both accounts

                             OR

Type https://signup.collegeboard.org/official-sat-practice/ into your web browser and click Get Started. Follow the prompts and logout when finished.

How To Connect Your Common Application and your Naviace Accounts

  1. Sign into Naviance
  2. Select the Colleges Tab
  3. Then select Colleges I'm Applying To
  4. Enter the email associated with your Common App. Account
  5. Click the match button

How to request teachers for recommendation letters on Naviance

  1. Be sure to ask the teacher in person prior to making the request on Naviance.  (Give the teacher the Teacher Recommendation Form and your activities résumé)
  2. Log into Naviance.
  3. Click on college tab.
  4. Click on the Letters of recommendation link.
  5. Click add request.
  6. Select the teacher in the drop box.
  7. Select the request for all current and future colleges I add to my colleges I’m applying to list.
  8. You do not need to write a personal note. (or you can put a small thank you J)
  9. Submit the request.
  10. Repeat the steps for the second teacher.
  11. Be sure to send your teachers a letter, note or card as a thank you.
