Embracing faith, family and education

In Loving Memory of Morgan McCaffery '20

Your wings were ready, but our hearts were not.

With profound grief and sadness, we mourn Morgan McCaffery ’20, who was tragically killed on Monday, July 27, 2020 in a senseless act of violence. During this difficult time, we extend our prayers and deepest sympathy to all those who love her, most especially her beloved family, friends, and her dear classmates from the Class of 2020. We ask you to remember Morgan and those who mourn her in your prayers.

Morgan was a light to those whom she encountered. Just recently, during the opening weeks of the pandemic, Morgan organized, assembled, and distributed care packages to nurses at Abington Hospital. It was not uncommon for Morgan to put others first.

May Morgan's soul rest in peace. Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. Amen.

Some of our Nazareth students and Morgan's close friends have created a GoFundMe to help with Morgan's funeral costs.
