Spanish Teacher
SPANISH TEACHER

Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish Education, or related field.
· Pennsylvania State Certification or Master’s Degree preferred
Personal:
· Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with administration, faculty, students, and parents to support a high-quality educational experience for all learners
· Receptive to constructive feedback and committed to ongoing professional improvement
· Capable of maintaining composure and sound judgment in high-pressure or challenging situations
· Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to design and implement effective instructional strategies
· Flexible and responsive to evolving classroom dynamics, curriculum changes, and school initiatives
· Must successfully complete all required background checks, including Criminal Background Check, Fingerprinting, and Child Abuse Clearances, in accordance with state and school regulations
Major Responsibilities:
· Instructional Responsibilities: Deliver engaging instruction in Spanish Levels 1, 2, 3, 4/AP.
· Curriculum Planning: Develop and maintain up-to-date, well-structured lesson plans.
· Submit plans in accordance with school policies.
· Collaborative Engagement: Work collaboratively with World Language Department colleagues to support curriculum development, interdisciplinary learning, and department goals.
· Classroom Environment: Create a positive, orderly, and student-centered classroom environment that reflects the values of Catholic education and supports the mission of Nazareth Academy High School.
· Student Supervision and Discipline: Maintain effective student management and ensure the safety, attentiveness, and well-being of students in the classroom and during school-related activities.
· Assessment and Reporting: Accurately record and report student attendance, academic progress, and performance in accordance with school procedures. Participate in parent-teacher conferences and provide timely communication regarding student development.
· Co-Curricular Involvement: Support student growth by voluntarily participating in and supervising school-approved co-curricular activities, events, and functions.
· Professional Growth: Demonstrate a commitment to professional development by actively pursuing opportunities for continued learning and growth.
· Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the school’s educational mission and operational needs.
Evaluation:
· Performance for this position will be evaluated on an annual basis by the NAHS administration

Diving Coach for Swim Team
Nazareth Academy High School is an all-girls private Catholic college preparatory school. The campus is located in Northeast Philadelphia. The school serves more than 300 students in grades 9-12. It is the only private all-girls high school in Philadelphia and has a reputation as one of the leading academic schools in Pennsylvania.
Nazareth Academy High School is searching for a qualified, energetic individual to take on the role of Women’s Diving Coach. This position will be responsible for overseeing and managing the diving program. The successful candidate will possess a proven ability to exemplify the highest standards of leadership, sportsmanship and respect in the PIAA. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate effectively are essential. The swimming & diving team practices and competes at Bensalem High School.
